Movement Trackers

Fitbit - A number of Julie's partners use Fitbit products as a way to track their activity level.  It is a great way to increase awareness about how much you move.  Some of the Fitbit products also allow users to track sleep.  The web-based used interface has numerous features that allow one to see results over time, set goals, and interact with other users, if desired.  Fitbit offers bracelet models and models that clip on to a waistband.  Less expensive versions are pedometers that track the number of steps that you have in a day.  Higher end models also have an altimeter (useful if you climb a lot of stairs) and track the number of minutes that the user engages in more intense activity.

Nutritional Aids

Artisan Bistro Pro - For folks who are learning new eating patterns, having some healthy convenience foods can be a relief.  Artisan Bistro Pro has designed an array of products that are consistent with a low-glycemic Mediterrean nutrition plan and the FirstLine Therapy plan that Julie offers as an option in her metabolic wellness programs.  Individual meals feature organic, non-GMO ingredients that are flash frozen to preserve freshness and nutritional value.  They currently offer about 20 different meals.  Each meal is approximately 12 oz and is formulated to offer approximately 30 grams of protein, 2-5 servings of low-glycemic, phytonutrient dense vegetable, and approximately 300 calories per meal.  They can be prepared using a skillet or a microwave.
